Annapolis Landing Marina

Located on Back Creek in the heart of Marina Row, Annapolis Landing Marina is a full service operation that needed new offices, showers and restrooms for its slip holders. This central two-story building places the administrative offices on the second floor with wrap-around windows to give a better overview when running the boatyard, and creates a higher profile to draw the attention of visitors arriving by boat. The building is a tall pavilion form with great visibility, similar to traditional lighthouses. The bathing and laundry facilities are located on the first floor and accessed through a central outdoor hallway, giving visitors added protection from the elements. Since the property is completely shoreline, careful placement of the structure on the site and selected native plantings helped to minimize storm water run-off.
